What's your, and how old are you?
Mike: Mike B, 25 years old.
You guys are twins. So, when and how did you guys decide to become a group?
Mike: We have been singing since 3. We decided that we wanted to persue this as a career when we were 16-17.
How did you guys decide on the name, Back II Back?
Mike: We felt that is matched us perfectly. We are twins. We were brought into this world BackIIBack. lol. Need I say more, lol.
Does being brothers, let alone twins help or harm being in a group together?
Mike: It really helps sharing this dream and career with my brother, in which I trust and love dearly. It can be hard at times. We are brothers, twins at that, and we do have our differences.
How long have you guys been performing?
Mike: Professionally since 1999. All our lives to be exact.
Have you ever had any embarrassing stage performances?
Mike: Well, one. I was dancing and getting jiggy on stage and all of a sudden my shoe lace came untied. I was really worried about tripping over my shoe, so I danced over to a very loyal fan, named Nicole a.k.a. Angel, and while I was singing, I reached my foot out to her and she knew what was up and tied my shoe!
How would you describe your music?
Mike: Urban Pop.
What can fans expect to find/experience at your shows?
Mike: High energy, tight dance moves, real live vocals, and lots of flirting.
I heard you guys just finished a huge tour. Do you plan on going back out again, anytime soon?
Mike: Indeed we do. We just cant work enough, lol. Our record label is working on that as we speak!
If you could tour with any band or singer now, who would it be and why?
Mike: Christina Aguliera. Her vocals are tight, and she can really sing. No Lip singing here!
When a show is over, are you all hyped up and stuff? Or are you exhausted?
Mike: Im hyped as heck. I look forward to signing and talking with fans. But, it can be exhausting.
What are your goals/hopes to accomplish with your music?
Mike: I hope to touch lives with my songs. Our songs have meanings. Real life issues. Id love to go platinum.
You're still a normal guy, so what do you do for fun?
Mike: Play PlayStation 2, go to the mall, and watch movies.
Since being a singer is hard work, do you consider this your full-time job? If not, do you guys have other jobs?
Mike: This is my full time job. Its hard to have another when you are this far in the game. Its very mental.
If in a few years, you're no longer are singing, what would you do? Would you still want to stay in some area of the music industry?
Mike: I really wanna stay in the music scene. I dont care if its singing in the lounges in Las Vegas. I just wanna sing!
If you had to do EVERYTHING all over again, would you change anything?
Mike: Yes. Ummm, maybe waiting to see what other offers might have come. We jumped on the only and first opportunity.
And last, but not least, if you could say anything to the fans reading this now, what would you say?
Mike: If you are gonna get into this business, make sure you are ready mentally. Make sure you have people in your corner with experience! Also, work hard in school stay away from those drugs that can end all things. Never give up on your dream!
