For all the new fans, why don't you tell us a little about yourself? Is there a website or anything that fans can find out more about you?
Why of course, thank you for asking. You can find out all my little secrets at www.brielarson.com or www.beewearstuff.com.
You're an aspiring singer and an actress. Which did you start with first?
I started acting first. My mom took me to see a musical and then I was hooked on both!
Who are your musical inspirations?
Hmmmm, I guess that would be my first vocal coach, Ana G. As far as artists go, I would have to say that I am inspired by Carol King, early Michael Jackson stuff, White Stripes, and the soundtrack to Thoroughly Modern Millie.
How would you describe your music?
I'm not sure how to describe it....maybe rock with an R&B influence. Does that sound like I know what I'm talking about?
Why don't you tell the fans a little bit about your role in the new Disney movie, "Right On Track?"
Sure. I play the youngest of the two Enders sisters who are aspiring drag racers. The sport was initially dominated by boys, but Erica and Courtney soon change that. It is based on a true story and I had the privilege of hanging out with the real Courtney Enders. The two sisters still race and dominate the sport today.
What was it like to be working with Beverly Mitchell, one of the stars of 7th Heaven?
At first it was a bit intimidating, because all of a sudden you're working with someone that you have seen on TV for so long. Bev was a wonderful actress and I think she did great.
Out of all the parts you've played/acted, which one was your favorite?
Probably Courtney Enders in "Right on Track", because she was just so fun. It was great to be just wild and play such a free spirit.
If you could work together with any singer or actress, who would it be, and why?
Catherine Zeta-Jones. She is so amazing and inspired me so much, when I saw her (3 times) in Chicago.
Since you're only 12, do you find it harder for people to take you seriously as an actress and a singer?
I'm actually 13, but the answer is still yes. The adult actors I work with definitely get treated differently, because they aren't children. I figure I'm not going to be a kid forever and it will all even out in the end. I'm still lucky to get to do this at all.
In a few years, if you are no longer singing or acting, what would you want to do? Would you still want to stay in some area of the music industry?
Actually, I would love to become an animal trainer, because I love animals. I've had the chance to work with a couple of dogs and I just found it so interesting to watch the trainers work with them.
Do you have a message for your fans?
Thank you to everyone who took the time to watch "Right on Track" and I hope that you will tune in to my new show, "Hope & Faith" on ABC. I promise you'll like it! You all rock!
That's it! Thanks for your time! :)
