Susan Griffith Interview

Why don't you tell all the new fans a little about yourself?
Hi, I'm Susan Griffith and I love music! I've been singing since I was 3 and I hope to get out there in the entertainment business and make a difference in people and music.

You're pretty young, how does it feel to have accomplished so much at such a young age?
Well I haven't accomplished all the goals I've set out to do, but I'm just honestly so grateful and blessed beyond understanding to have the opportunities I've had even up to this point.

Have you ever had voice/singing lessons? If so, for how long?
Yes I have, but just recently for about the past 6 months.

Is there any one specific person or gorup that influenced your decision to become a singer?
I have been inspired by many musicians but I would have to say that music itself was all the inspiration I needed. I've heard it said that music is the soundtrack to our lives, and I agree. It has been with me through good and bad. It is the best way for me to express my feelings and emotions. It's also one of the best comforts. It's a place where people are in their own world, where dreams are developed. It has always been a security for me to rely on.

Can fans be expecting your solo CD coming out soon?
Oh yes! Everyone has been asking me when are you getting new music!!! lol, and finally I am.. I begin work on my album this January! A great way to kick of 2003!

Now, I read that you write songs. Do you write your own?
Love to write, and I'm learning how to write the music as well as lyrics, I'm very new at it, but it's worth learning.

If so, where do you find your inspiration?
From God, I think it's important for an individual to channel into that resource of peace love and hope. I've been changed in a way that I could not have done on my own. Everyone needs someone to talk to who will understand, why not the creator of the universe.

If you could do a duet with any artist of the past or present, who would it be, and why?
Elvis, I'm a big fan. I think he had a big impact on the change and style of music that will be forever remembered. I think he was truly a unique 1 of a kind talent.

If you weren't a singer, what would you want to be?
I would probably be in a position of inspiration and influence and of course involved with music, because that's what I'm doing now, it's what I love. Always do something in your life that you have a strong love and passion for. You are made for that reason. You have that dream for a reason, let the seed bloom.

If you could say one thing to your fans, what would it be?
Thank you thank you thank you for supporting me even when i was at a short pause in my career. You matter the most because you've been there since day 1. Follow your heart and your dreams. and keep on shining!
Love Always - Susan
