Chapter 1

It was a normal school day for Anecia. She woke up at 7 a.m. in the morning. She got dressed, ate breakfast, then walked to Cramer Lane where her 2 best friends Joanna and Sarah were waiting. Anecia and Joanna had been best friends since they were one. Just recently, they became friends with Sarah. Joanna was 14 and Anecia and Sarah were 15. They attended school at Crystal High. Crystal High was a school for singing, dancing and acting. If you couldn't sing, act, or dance then you should forget about even trying to get into the school. Anecia, Joanna, and Sarah were good at singing and dancing. It wasn't Anecia's intension to be a singer or dancer though. So she had signed up for the acting course at Crystal High. Joanna and Sarah both took singing and dancing together.

The school day had started. The 5 minute warning bell had rang. "Well I got to go to Math. Mr. Crane will lower down my grade if I'm late again!" Sarah said as she closed her locker. "Bye. See you after 3rd period." Joanna and Anecia both said. Every school day after 3rd period they would meet at their lockers to update each other about their classes and what's going on.

I walked into my first period class. It was Language/Reading. The teacher was Mrs. Bellford. She had problems! Lipstick would be applied to her teeth instead of her lips. She made a really annoying cringe like scratch on the chalkboard whenever she wrote on it. They were in the middle of reading their text books. Until the hottest boy in the world walked into the room! I was so phsyced! "Uh… I'm new here." The boy said as he gave Mrs. Bellford a note. "Hmm…….Jesse. Why don't you take the seat next to Joanna." She said as she pointed to the empty table. "Joanna don't embarrass yourself please! Oh god he's hot!!!!!!!" I thought.

I walked to my seat. Everybody is staring at me! Maybe it's the way I dress. I slammed my binder onto the desk. This school sucks I thought. Chris, Greg, Frankie, and Matt were probably already at their classes too. Yup, they leave me here. We all agreed to meet each other outside of my 4th period class after 3rd period. I can't wait…. The girl beside me dropped her pencil. I had to be nice. I picked up the pencil slowly.

"Ouch." Joanna's head bumped into the boys head. "Hey I'm Jesse." The boy said as he handed me my pencil. "I'm Joanna." She said. The end of 1st period bell rang.

I was walking to my locker. Until some boy tripped me and I fell. My books flew across the hallway. "I'm so sorry." The boy said. "It's okay. Hi I'm Anecia." I said. I flipped my hair. "I'm Chris." Chris said. Chris helped me pick up my books. "Thanks." I replied. "No problem. I got to go see ya around Anecia." Chris replied. "Oh my god what a hottie I cant believe he said my name!!!" I thought.

"I did the most stupidest thing on the first day of school! She was hott too! And I had to trip her." I thought. I walked over to my locker and Greg was there. "Hey man sup?" Greg asked. "I tripped some girl…..and her books fell….but I got her name!" I answered. "Cool." Greg replied. "Uh oh…..I'm going to be late." Chris said as he ran to his next class.

My next class was singing/dancing. I took a seat next to a girl I thought I might like. But I never caught her name. All I did was stare at her the whole period. I bet she's going to think I'm crazy or something. But she was hott!!! Mr.Hillbarn gave a long lecture on singing. Soon the period was done.

The period was over. It was time for me to meet up with Anecia and Joanna. They were already at my locker. "So….."Sarah said. "There's this really hot guy in my 1st period class!!!!!" Joanna squealed. "And I bumped into the hottest guy ever!!!! " Anecia replied! "Interesting." Sarah answered.

I saw the girl again. The one that I was staring at throughout Mr. Hillbarn's class. The guys and I were talking in front of Jesse's 4th period class.

My next period was GYM. Gym is okay and all but we have to run the mile today. And nobody really enjoys the mile. There's a new boy in our class his name is Jesse. He's okay. And he's friends with Chris!!!!!! Cool I know! Everybody, got ready for the mile. We were running it around the school. If Chris has a class in G Pod then I might be able to see him!!!! YAY! I started running. I saw Sarah but she wasn't paying attention. Then I saw Chris! He was in room 34. I ran faster to keep up with my time. "7 minutes and 46 seconds." Mrs. Button said as she read the timer. Damn! Normally I do better than that!

<~~~*Jesse's Point Of View*~~~>
Anecia likes Chris. I think it's funny. But her friend is Joanna! Yea, the girl in my 1st period class. So that's cool. I did really bad in the mile! I got 9 minutes and 56 seconds. But Mrs. Button said it was okay because it was my first day here. Soon the school day was over. The guys and I went to Chris's house.

"Chris dear were going to your cousins house today." Mrs. Trousdale said. "Which one?" Chris asked. "You don't know her. Well the last time you saw her was when you were 1." Mrs. Trousdale replied. "Oh ok. Can the guys come?" Chris asked. "Sure." Mrs. Trousdale replied. "Who's your cousin?" Jesse asked. "Don't ask me!" Chris replied. "But Chris she's your cousin!" Greg said. Frankie laughed. "The last time I saw her was when I was 1! I have a hard time remembering what I did when I was 11." Chris answered. " Chris honey let's go!" Mrs. Trousdale said.

Meanwhile…….. "Hi mom." Sarah said as she entered the house. "Hi Mrs. Trousdale." Anecia and Joanna both said. "Please girls we've known each other long enough call me Susan." Susan replied. "Mom that just sounds weird!" Sarah replied. "Oh yeah Sarah you're cousin and aunt are coming over today!" Susan said. "Who???" Sarah answered. "You don't know him." Susan replied. "Oh ok." Sarah said. The three girls went up to Sarah's room. Joanna was checking her e-mail. While Sarah and Anecia were talking. "Hey, turn on the t.v." Anecia said. "Ok." Sarah replied. Sarah took the remote and turned on the t.v. Joanna read her mail out loud.

"Whatever, I'm not getting Katty another cd. Last time I got her the NSYNC cd. She threw it away!" Joanna said. Sarah laughed. "Jeez……. Your cousin is spoiled!" Anecia replied. "You think?" Joanna asked. After that Sarah checked her mail. She opened up an e-mail from her brother (Tommy) who was staying in Hawaii for a couple weeks.

Anecia didn't want to check her mail. Because, she was thinking about Chris. She says that he is really hot! Then she told Joanna how Jesse is in her gym class. Sarah had no clue on what they were talking about! "Look while the 2 of you talk about your little crushes I'm going to get my mom. You know to ask her about my cousin." Sarah replied as she went downstairs. The doorbell rang. She knew it had to be her aunt and cousin. Sarah opened the door. "Oh my gosh, you must be Sarah! Nice to see you again I'm your Aunt!" the lady said as she hugged Sarah. "Hi I'm Chris. Your cousin." Chris said as he hugged Sarah. "That's the girl! The girl that I've been talking about!" Greg whispered to Jesse. Chris overheard. "Dude. That's my cousin!" Chris yelled. "Shut-up Chris!" Greg smiled. "Hi I'm Sarah." Sarah said as she looked into Greg's eyes. Joanna and Anecia ran downstairs. Chris looked up to find Anecia. "Hey, nice to see yea again!" Chris replied. "Yea." Anecia said. "Joanna?" Jesse asked. "Yup, that's me." Joanna replied. 10 minutes later they were hanging out in Sarah's room. "So are you girls Dream Street fans?" Chris asked. "WHO???" Joanna asked. "They're talking about that lame boy band you know the one on television." Sarah said as she flipped through some magazines. "Why do you ask?" Anecia asked. "No reason…" Chris replied. "UM! You mean were in the band! Right Chris?" Jesse yelled. "Oh I'm thinking about the wrong band…. I'm thinking about those Linkin Park Guys yup those guys are lame! But Dream Street's cool." Joanna lied. "Cool." Jesse answered. Greg could hardly talk. He was too busy staring at Sarah. "Greg still there?" Chris asked. "What, oh uh yea." Greg replied with a shock of reality. "Is it just me or are any of you hungry?" Chris asked. "Eat here or out?" Anecia asked. "Out." Everybody agreed. "Ok then… where do you girls want to go?" Greg asked. "Depends, are you paying or we?" Sarah asked. "I'll pay." Greg replied. "Oh jeez… I think I actually like him." Sarah thought.

In Greg's car… "So where are we going?" Chris asked. "How about…."Anecia thought. "PEANUT BUTTER!" Jesse yelled. "Uh…I pass." Greg said. "Jesse have you ever noticed that you scream like a girl?" Chris asked. The girls started cracking up. "What!? I don't sound like a girl. Hey, at least I'm not the one who sounds like Britney Spears!" Jesse made a come back. "Whatever," Chris said he was starting to get pissed off. "It's okay, I don't think you sound like Britney Spears." Anecia replied. A smile spread across Chris's face. "Look since none of you are picking a place to eat were going to eat at my special place!" Greg replied. "You have a special place?" Chris and Jesse both said. "Yeah…" Greg replied. "That's so gay." Chris whispered to Jesse. "And you talk like so gay!" Greg said. The girls laughed.

5 minutes later. They were at McDonalds. "What!?!? This is your special place?" Jesse asked. "This isn't romantic!" Chris said. "I NEVER said it was!" Greg replied. "Look while you three argue I'm going to go inside to get something to eat." Joanna said as she headed into the McDonalds. The boys still continued to argue. "Let's follow Joanna." Anecia said. Sarah nodded her head. The girls ordered their food. And by the time they came back outside with their food the boys were still arguing. "STOP! I have a phone call." Greg said as he took his cell phone out of his pocket. "Yea. Okay. Sure" Was all you could hear from Greg's mouth. Greg turned of his phone. "Uh can you clue us in?" Jesse asked. "He said he needs to talk to us tomorrow." Greg answered. "Why did he call you and not us!?" Chris asked. "Because I'm the responsible one and he knows he can depend on me to tell all of you the plans." Greg said. "Ha, Greg responsible. I think that was a mistake. Greg is the craziest." Jesse whispered to Joanna. "Hey I heard that!" Greg replied. "Please! Don't get into another argument! Or else tonight when I sleep I'll be dreaming about You, Jesse and Chris arguing!" Sarah replied. "Hey at least you're dreaming about me." Greg smiled. "It won't be a nice one though!" Sarah replied. Chris could tell that Greg liked Sarah. Chris thought it was just wrong! I mean Sarah was Chris's cousin. Greg was one of Chris's best friends. Then he thought for a minute. "Oh no! I'm in love with Sarah's best friend!" Chris thought about Anecia.

Soon they were back at Sarah's house. "No offense but your house is really boring!" Chris said. Sarah shot a face at Chris. "Ok, I said NO OFFENSE! So you can't get mad at me!" Chris smiled. While Anecia, Chris, Greg, and Sarah were talking. Joanna and Jesse were having their own little "private" conversation. "So do you have a boyfriend?" Jesse asked. "It depends do you have a girlfriend?" Joanna asked. "I asked you first!" Jesse smiled. "No, but I like this boy." Joanna replied. "WHO!?" Jesse seemed shocked. "You!" Joanna answered. "I knew that! I was just testing you!" Jesse replied. "Yup, Whatever." Joanna replied. "Chris, Greg, Jesse we have to go now!" Mrs. Trousdale yelled. "Aww…… man we have to leave?!?" Jesse responded. "Hey Jess. Maybe sometime you can call me." Joanna said as she gave Jesse her phone number. "Anecia please say you'll call me!" Chris said and made a sad face. Greg was too afraid to say something to Sarah. So they guys and Mrs. Trousdale left. "Sarah's sad. Because Greg didn't say anything to her in the end!" Joanna said. "Shut-up!" Sarah replied. "Sarah it's okay. At least you got a hottie cousin!" Anecia said. "HE'S MY COUSIN!!! Eww…. He's not hot!!! He's MY COUSIN!" Sarah replied. "No you see her cousin has a hot friend!" Joanna said. "If you're talking about that Jesse boy. He's not hot!" Sarah replied. "Okay you just got a negative thing for whatever were going to say!" Anecia said. "Yeah, I bet you that she's just jealous!" Joanna said. "OK! I'm not jealous. Damn, I can't have a crush on my cousin! I'm not insane!" Sarah yelled. "Cool down girl." Anecia said. "Ok im cooled down." Sarah answered. "Cool, can we call up Chris?" Anecia exclaimed. "Sure go ahead." Sarah sighed.
Chris: Hello
Anecia: Hi
Chris: Hey Anecia Sup?
Anecia: Nothing much I'm just bored.
Chris: Hold on okay I'm going to put this on speaker phone.
Anecia: Ok. I'll do the same thing.
"SARAH HOW DO YOU PUT THIS ON SPEAKER???" Anecia yelled. "There's a button that says SPEAKER on it!" Sarah replied. "O yeah I knew that!" Anecia yelled back.
Jesse: HEY JOANNA!
Joanna: Hi Jesse
Chris: Oh sorry Sarah Greg left.
Sarah: And I care why?
Chris: I thought you liked him?
Sarah: Um… well kind of but he doesn't like me.
Chris: (laughs) What are you talking about Greg likes you A LOT!
Sarah: Look I'm not in the mood to talk about it okay?
Chris: Anecia are you still there?
Anecia: I'm right here
Chris: Ok good.
Jesse: Hey Joanna I'll call you on your cell phone okay? So we can have a private conversation.
Joanna: Sure.
Jesse: Ok.
Sarah: Can you like 3-way Greg.
Chris: How do you do 3-way???
Anecia: Oh my god! You don't know how to do three-way!
Chris: Come on… Just tell me!
Sarah: Ok, you press flash then you dial his number then press flash again.
Chris: That's easy
(Ring)
Greg: Hello.
Chris: Hey 'sup man? It's Chris
Greg: Oh, hey Chris. Your cousin is hot! I should've given her my number!
Chris: Yup you should've. Why don't you give it to her now?
Greg: What are you talking about?
Chris: SARAH!
Greg: HUH?
Chris: Sarah Anecia you can talk already!
Greg: THEY WERE ON THE LINE?
Chris: Hold on. They're not talking.
Greg: Good!
Sarah: Hi
Greg: WHAT?
Sarah: I said Hi. Is there something wrong with saying Hi?
Greg: No.
Chris: Greg don't act stupid
Anecia: I'm bored!
Greg: Hey Sarah
Chris: Greg you're LATE! You should've said that earlier when she said Hi!
Greg: Oops.
Anecia: Sarah and I have to go.
