Chapter 2

Greg was sitting in his room. "Why was I so dumb on the phone?" Greg thought. He knew that he was falling in love with Sarah. The pain ached in his stomach. He wasn't sure what to do. It hurt so much he didn't know what to do. Tears came down his cheeks when he realized that this was the first time he's ever fell in love. That night Greg had fell asleep listening to "U Got It Bad" by Usher.

"Jesse wake-up!" Mrs. McCartney yelled. "Mom please just 5 more minutes I'm really tired!" Jesse said. "NO, Jesse you have to get up now!" Mrs. McCartney answered. "I know why Jesse is so tired! Because he spent the whole night talking to his girlfriend!" Leah teased. "LEAH! You were listening to my private conversation?!?" Jesse yelled. "Maybe." Leah his little sister giggled. "LEAH! You are so DEAD!" Jesse chased after her. "Mommy Jesse is trying to hurt me!!!" Leah yelled. "Jesse stop! Hold on I'm going to answer the phone.

Mrs. McCartney: Hello this is the McCartney's residence. Joanna: Oh hi this is Joanna is Jesse there? Mrs. McCartney: Hold on

"Jesse the phone's for you!" Mrs. McCartney said. "Thank god." Leah sighed. "Ha. After this phone call we'll continue!" Jess replied

Jesse: Hey
Joanna: Hi!
Jesse: Oh yea Chris wants to do a triple date thing.
Joanna: Cool
Jesse: Yea. Were going to go to the park first then go shopping.
Joanna: Cool
Jesse: Yup.
Joanna: Cool
Jesse: Ok.
Joanna: Cool
Jesse: STOP!
Joanna: (laughs) ok.
Jesse: See ya later babe I have to beat up my little sister.
Joanna: UGH! Jesse you're so mean!
Jesse: I know. Bye
Joanna: Bye

"Jesse how was your talk with your girlfriend!" Leah said. "LEAH SHUT-UP!" Jesse yelled back. Jesse began chasing her. "AHHH! Mommy help! Jesse is turning into a mental maniac!" Leah screamed. "Jesse, stop now!" Mrs. McCartney yelled. "Ok. But can you please tell Leah to not listen to my private conversations!" Jesse replied. "Sure." Mrs. McCartney answered. Jesse left the room. "So Leah who was he talking to last night?" Mrs. McCartney smiled. "This girl named Joanna. It's Chris's cousin's friend." Leah replied.

The doorbell rang. Sarah went downstairs to answer it. It was her aunt and her cousin. "Hey Sarah is Anecia here?" Chris asked. "No. But I'm going to her house right now." Sarah said as she grabbed her jacket. "Hey mom do you think it's all right if I go with Sarah to her friend's house!" Chris exclaimed. "Sure go ahead." Mrs. Trousdale replied. "Damn." Sarah replied. "Hey you know what we can go to Greg's house first then he can DRIVE us to Anecia's place." Chris said. "And I care why!?" Sarah asked. "Ok. Let's go now." Mrs. Trousdale said. Mrs. Trousdale drove Sarah and Chris to Greg's house. Chris ran up to the door and rang the doorbell. "Hello Chris. I'll get Greg." Mrs. Raposo said. "Okay." Chris replied. Greg ran downstairs. "Hey Chris." Greg said as he high-fived Chris. "Hi Greg." Sarah waved. "Oh Sarah. I need to talk to you in the car." Greg said as he ran to his car and unlocked the door. "Dude! I want to sit in the front!" Chris said. "Well I have to talk to Sarah. And I'm the only one who can drive. " Greg replied. Chris sighed and slid into the backseat. Sarah smiled. "So what'd you have to talk about!?" Sarah asked. " The guys and I are going to go on a tour with Aaron Carter. The tour starts this Friday and I was wondering if you wanted to go with us." Greg mumbled. "Well I have to ask my mom. But I probably can go because Chris is my cousin and all." Sarah replied. "Aight." Greg replied. They pulled up at Anecia's house. "Sarah what took you so long! HUH? What's Chris and Greg doing here?" Anecia asked. "Well Chris came over to my house with his mom because you know were relatives and all. And then I told him that I was going to your house. And because Chris likes you he decided to ask his mom to see if he can come with me to your house. But I got really mad at him. Then he said we can go to Greg's house first. Then Greg can drive us to your house." Sarah replied in one breath. "English Sarah English." Chris answered. "It was!" Sarah replied. "So Anecia wassup?" Chris asked. "Same as usual." Anecia answered "Oh." Chris replied. Chris and Anecia were hanging out in Anecia's living room. While Sarah and Greg were talking in the guestroom. Chris and Anecia were watching "What Lies Beneath." "Damn… this is a scary movie!" Anecia exclaimed. Chris put his arm around Anecia's waste , "Are you still scared?" Chris asked. "Not as much as before." Anecia stared into Chris's eyes. Slowly, their heads got closer and closer to one another. Then Chris kissed her. "That was my first kiss." Chris replied as he slowly let his lips slide off hers. "Yeah, It was my first kiss too." Anecia said.

Joanna went over to Jesse's house. Since everybody else was at Anecia's place. Joanna and Jesse were trying to "cook" in the kitchen. Leah was trying to help too. But instead of them cooking they made a big mess. "Hey Jesse watch out your little sister is going to" Joanna couldn't finish her sentence. Jesse turned around. A big glob of peanut butter hit his face. "LEAH!" Jesse yelled. "Joanna help me!!!" Leah screamed afraid of her older brother. "Shh…" Joanna said to Leah. Joanna opened the fridge and took out the chocolate syrup. She gently squeezed the syrup onto Jesse's head. "WHAT IS THAT!?" Jesse yelled. Joanna and Leah giggled. Jesse took the vanilla ice cream grabbed a big scoop. And put it on Joanna's neck. "Oh my god that is cold!!!" Joanna screamed. Then Jesse did the same thing to Leah. "JESSE!!!!!" Leah cried. "Haha." Jesse laughed. "Look I'm going to leave now. The ice cream on my back is starting to melt!" Leah said with discomfort. After Leah left the room. Jesse trapped Joanna. "Joanna it's your pick what do you want? Chocolate syrup all over your face or a kiss from me?" Jesse asked. "Hmm… It's hard to pick. I mean you have chocolate syrup all over your hair and peanut butter on your mouth." Joanna said. Jesse got closer to Joanna. Soon they were kissing. "Ewww!" Leah yelled as she came back to the kitchen. Jesse and Joanna didn't stop.

Sarah and Greg interrupted Chris and Anecia's kiss. "What?" Chris asked. "Can we go somewhere else?" Sarah asked. "Yea, my place is starting to get boring." Anecia replied. "Have any ideas?" Chris asked. "Nope." Anecia answered. "Well there's a school dance." Sarah smiled. "Perfect!" Greg answered. They called up Jesse and Joanna asking them if they wanted to go to the dance too. They were going to meet Jesse and Joanna at the dance. Greg was driving again.

10 minutes later they were at Crystal High. You could here the song "Where the Part At" from the parking lot. "Man, this party is going to be tight!" Greg whispered to Chris. "It's a dance." Chris answered. "Same thing." Greg replied. Chris and Anecia began dancing on the dance floor. Sarah and Greg were just talking. Then Jesse and Joanna came in the doors. "What took you so long?" Sarah asked. "I had to go home and change." Joanna replied. "Why?" Greg asked. "Long story." Jesse said then grabbed Joanna's hand and led her to the dance floor. A slow song started to play it was "Differences" by Genuwine. Neither one of them knew it, but Differences was both Greg and Sarah's favorite song. Greg wasn't sure if he should ask Sarah to dance or not. He was afraid she might say no. Greg's chances were ruined when he saw a boy around the same age as them tap Sarah's back. "Hey you wanna dance?" The boy asked. "I'm sorry Michael. I kind of want to dance with somebody else." Sarah said. "Oh. It's ok." Michael answered and left. "Sarah do you want to dance with me?" Greg asked. "Sure." Sarah replied.

"Anecia, look Sarah and Greg are dancing with each other." Chris said. "Cool." Anecia said. SOMETHING YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU READ THE REST! : There is a secret that Anecia and Joanna know about Sarah. Something that may make Sarah consider not getting to close to a guy! Ok now back to the story.

"Jesse, is this like the first time you ever slow danced?" Joanna asked. "Yeah." Jesse replied. Joanna giggled. "How'd you know?" Jesse asked. "Well just the way you slow dance." Joanna said. "Oh ok." Jesse answered.

Greg looked at Sarah she was in a way frowning. "Sarah are you sad?" Greg asked. "No, why would you say that?" Sarah smiled. "Nothing." Greg smiled back. Greg could tell that she wasn't really smiling. There was something that she wasn't telling him. A fast song began to play. And Greg and Sarah let go of each other. But Joanna and Jesse were still slow dancing! And so was Chris and Anecia. Greg and Sarah laughed at the same time. Sarah had a pain in her stomach. "Um… Greg I need to go ok. I'm not feeling well." Sarah said as she walked away. "Wait.. who's going to take you home?" Greg asked. "I can find a ride." Sarah lied. Sarah was planning just to walk home she thought it might help the pain go away. "Ok bye." Greg said as he kissed her on the cheek. "Yea bye." Sarah answered as if she weren't paying attention. Sarah left. "Hey why'd she leave?" Chris asked. "Not feeling well." Joanna and Anecia both said at the same time. "How'd you two know?" Greg asked. "Nothing we just know her better then you do." Anecia answered. All of them continued to dance. But Greg just stayed in the car and waited for the other to get inside. But Anecia, Joanna, Chris, and Jesse didn't get into the car until 2 hours later. "What took you so long!?" Greg asked. "They kicked us out." Chris frowned.
