Erin's Dreamstreet w/ Aaron Carter Encounter
Sovereign Center Arena
Reading, PA - February 1, 2002
~Ok, so it all started I woke up from a somewhat night of not very much sleep. But hey, I was excited. I went to school and my friend Callan and I were so antsy and excited and thought the school day would never end. When the bell finally rang after 7th Period, the last period of the day, we ran to the lobby to get picked up by Callan's mom. Callan's mom drove us to my house and I ran upstairs, got a quick shower, and got ready, all in 10 minutes! It was raining outside, and that is not usually a good sign when we go to meet dreamstreet. We were on our way and it took us about 30 minutes to get to Reading. As we were driving, the sun came out. I have this theory that everytime I meet dreamstreet it has to be sunny. I had a feeling the sun would shine even though it was supposed to rain all day. What a psychic I am! So, we finally got to the Fairground Square Mall. The signing went good, and if you want to know more about it, email me. Before we went to the Aaron Carter Concert, we went to Callan's grandparent's bar and got a few things like peanuts, water, and gum(lol) and then went quickly to Callan's grandparent's house since they all live RIGHT in that area. After that, we finally got to the Sovereign Center. Callan's mom dropped us off and we ran to the entrance of the Sovereign Center. We went in to find my mom, my little sister, Callan's cousin and her friend. We talked for a few minutes about meeting Dreamstreet and made our way up the stairs to the arena. The guy was going to check our bags and I told him I had a camera and I wasn't going to use even though in the long run I did. *wink* So, Callan's cousin(we will just call her Chelsea) and her friend went to their seats and we went to ours. We were sitting in Row AA Seats 1-4 and we were really close! We saw where Chelsea and her friend were and they had good seats too. Callan and I went over there for a few minutes and saw that we could see so much better from there! Lindsey Pagano came out and I kept running back and forth trying to convince my mom and my little sister that no one was going to come to those seats where Chelsea and her friend were and we could see so good. Lindsey Pagano was ok. She is a Philly girl, and she sang "Everything UR" and a few other songs. We were on the side of the stage in the stands about 4th row up and we were about 15 feet from the stage. There was a TV to our right which we had a great view of. We saw Matt Mitchell(DS's Producer) and I told Callan and Chelsea that that was him and we told him we had to talk to him and see if he remembered my mom because she talked to him in Allentown. He forgot for a little while I think because he was really busy, but then the lights dimmed again. My mom and little sister finally decided to come over and sit. Im tellin' ya, it was a great view! Dreamstreet came out and we started screaming which is weird because I don't scream for Dreamstreet usually. I think it was the fact that we knew them somewhat and some people didn't know at all who they were, and they were on a bigger stage. They started out with "I Say Yeah." It was pretty good. Greg came out and asked how many people have their album and if they like it. Before they began Sugar Rush, he dedicated it to his friend Matthew who is only four. Aww! He came over to this pole thing and we were yelling his name to try and get his attention. I think it worked a little. They were noticing us because there was no one in front of us and know one knew who they were behind us, so we were noticeable. Chris came out and thanked Aaron Carter for letting them be there and gave a shout-out to Lindsey Lohan(the new Parent Trap girl). We yelled really loud when it got really quiet and he chuckled and said "Hey, What's up?" lol. They started "They started "They Don't Understand." We were yelling all their names really loud and they looked over a few times. This one part of the Pokemon version of the song they yell "Pokemon" after the chorus, we yelled it because we knew almost no one else would. We only said it once though. After that, Matt came out and did a little dance when he said "Do you guys like to dance?" He did "Hooked on You" and they were really sharp on their dance moves this show! Chris came out again and was saying how there were alot of hot girls out there. He thanked their producers and writers for writing the song which was "With All My Heart." OMG, all I can say is WHOA. Callan started crying and I shed a tear or two myself because that describes well how I feel now. It was such a beautiful ballad! Jesse came out and said "Whats up Reading!" and then they started "Feel the Rain."At the beginning part Greg noticed me, but he didn't want me to notice, but I did. I know, confusing. But moving on, Greg did the shirt thing as usual. Those TV closeups of the guys were hot! We ran down to the bottom of the stands part so we could try and get it, but no luck. Frankie came out while the other guys were drinking water and they sang "It Happens Everytime" as always. Chris ran over to our side saying "thank you". We saw Matt Mitchell and talked to him for a few minutes and he recognized my mom's face and we asked if we could go backstage and he said no because the guys already left, but next time we go to a dreamstreet concert he will. *fingers crossed* Later we found out the guys really didn't leave. Callan started freaking out after that because Aaron Carter was next and it was her first Aaron Concert. Aaron was great!!! If you want details on his part, email me for the whole review! The one song Aaron sang "Not to Young, Not to Old." Alot of good things happened in this song! DS related! This is now Callan, Chelsea, Mine, Aaron, and Chris's song! lol. Aaron was on this platform thing on the top of the stage and he noticed us three and a dancer was standing in his way and he was trying to move his head to see us. Then, this one girl behind us noticed Chris standing below us. See, where we were they had all the equipment and production managers and everything. So, we looked back and he was in this little hallway looking thing under us with this girl, who I think is from the movie. He was just watching the concert and I yelled "CHRIS!" three times and he finally heard me. He looked up and recognized who I was and smiled a huge smile, and then he saw my other friends. He turned around to walk away, but then turned around again and blew and kiss and waved. He must have been standing there for at least a few minutes so he must have saw us dancing to the song. lol. We were so paranoid for just about the rest of the concert because we kept thinking we saw them! Next "I Want Candy" started and we started saying "I Want Chris" a few times since what happened. Aaron was great, and the concert ended. We waited for a few minutes and saw Bernie and Kevin (part of the Dreamstreet Production Team) and said "hey" and told them our little Chris thing and we asked if we could meet them and Bernie said they already left and Kevin said "Yea, 15 minutes ago." He asked us our names and we told them. Then we said "bye" and got our coats together, said "bye" to Chelsea and her friend, went to the bathroom(well, some of us) *i gotta pee, keep it up, some guys like that* lol. If u read my Dreamstreet Fairground Square Mall encounter you will get it. Thats not why i did it, but I thought it was the perfect time to put it in there. We walked outside and saw DS's tour bus. We got a picture in front of the Sovereign Center. We then walked a little and took a picture of DS's and Aaron's tour bus even though Aaron's didnt turn out. We walked into the parking garage and got into the car. This was an awesome concert and an awesome day and I hope there is more to come!
